Yacht Charter Services in Antigua and Barbuda

Private day cruises, sunset sails, snorkeling trips, sportfishing outings and celebrations, arranged on a yacht or catamaran that suits your group.

What we arrange

Private Charters Built Around Your Day

Every charter starts with a few simple questions: who is coming, what you would like to do, and how long you want to be on the water.

From there, Yachts Antigua suggests yachts that fit your group and plans. A couple celebrating an anniversary needs something very different from a family with children or a company hosting clients, and the right yacht makes all the difference to how the day feels.

The services below are the most common requests. They can be combined, so a day cruise can include a snorkel stop and lunch at anchor, and a birthday can finish with a sunset toast. Whatever you have in mind, we confirm what is possible on your chosen yacht before you book.

Choosing a vessel

How to Choose a Suitable Yacht or Catamaran

A few practical points make it much easier to narrow down the options. We will walk you through them when you inquire.

Group size

Start with the number of guests. Every yacht has a maximum, and a little extra space makes a long day much more comfortable.

The occasion

A romantic sunset cruise suits a smaller yacht, while a party or corporate event may need a large deck and an indoor saloon.

Charter length

Short cruises keep to nearby bays. Longer charters allow more stops and, on suitable days, routes farther along the coast.

Comfort and shade

Consider shaded seating, indoor space and a bathroom on board, especially for full days, older guests or young children.

Activities

If snorkeling, fishing or water toys matter to you, mention them early so we only suggest yachts that can offer them.

Budget

Yacht size, charter length and extras all affect the price. Share a budget range and we can suggest the best fit within it.

Who is coming

Charters for Couples, Families and Groups

Couples

Smaller yachts, such as the 38' Azimut in our listing, are well suited to two people. Sunset cruises, proposals and anniversaries are popular choices, and a quieter itinerary lets you simply enjoy the view.

Families

Look for shade, a bathroom and easy access to the water. Let us know the ages of any children so we can confirm properly sized life jackets and suggest calm, sheltered swim stops.

Groups and events

Larger yachts offer more deck space, indoor areas and room for catering. For big groups we check guest limits first, then the facilities you need for the day.

Special occasions

Private Celebrations and Special Events

Celebrating on a private yacht means no strangers, no fixed schedule and a backdrop of open sea and coastline. It works for intimate moments and lively parties alike.

  • Birthdays

  • Anniversaries
  • Weddings

Questions About Charter Services

Help choosing between charter types and planning extras. More answers are on our Antigua yacht charter FAQ.

What is the difference between a yacht charter and a catamaran charter?

A motor yacht has a single hull and is usually quicker between stops, with a sleek, enclosed saloon. A catamaran has two hulls, which gives it a wide, stable deck and plenty of open space for groups. Both can be booked privately; the better choice depends on your group, plans and dates.

Which charter is best for a first visit to Antigua?

A half-day or full-day cruise with a swim or snorkel stop is a good introduction, because you see the coastline and still have time in the water. If you only have an evening free, a sunset cruise is a relaxed alternative.

How long is a typical day charter?

Half-day and full-day charters are the most common, but exact hours differ from yacht to yacht. Your quote states the start time, the end time and the duration for the yacht you choose.

Is snorkeling equipment provided?

Some yachts carry masks, snorkels and fins, and others do not. If snorkeling is important to you, mention it in your inquiry and we will confirm what equipment is on board, or suggest bringing your own.

Can food, drinks or catering be arranged?

Often, yes. Depending on the yacht, options range from snacks and soft drinks to a catered lunch or dinner. What is included and what costs extra is set out in your quote.

Can I bring my own food, drinks or decorations?

Policies differ between yachts. Some welcome your own cake or decorations, while others prefer to supply catering themselves. Ask before your charter so we can confirm what is allowed on board.

Can you help plan a marriage proposal on a yacht?

Yes. Tell us how you would like the moment to unfold and we will help with timing, often around sunset, and check which extras, such as flowers or champagne, can be arranged on your chosen yacht.

Can a wedding ceremony take place on a yacht?

Many couples hold a ceremony, vow renewal or reception on the water. The yacht booking covers the vessel, crew and agreed extras; the legal requirements for marrying in Antigua and Barbuda are separate, so check them with your officiant or the relevant authorities.

Are sportfishing trips available?

Our fleet listing includes the 60' Hatteras Fishing Yacht, the 61' Viking Fishing Yacht and the 70' Luxury Fishing Yacht. Tackle, the type of fishing and any catch rules are confirmed with the yacht when you inquire.

Can you arrange a charter for a large group or company event?

Yes, subject to availability. Larger yachts in our listing are suited to bigger groups; for example, the 72' Blue Water is listed for around 20 guests on charters and up to 40 for shorter events. Every yacht's guest limit is confirmed for your date.

Can children join a yacht charter?

Many families charter yachts with children. Tell us the ages of the children in your group so we can confirm suitable life jackets and recommend a comfortable yacht and calm swim stops. Parents remain responsible for supervising children on board.
